From what I remember of Gilroy “garlic capital of the world” a vampire shouldn’t be within 10 miles of the place, the odor was quite pervasive.
Frost would hardly bother the garlic as it is in the ground.
The most important perspective: How are we going to make this farm sustainable if we keep losing crops? Maybe get the vampire to pay them to refrain from growing garlic.
