As the oldest sib, my job was to check all the candy. Of course there was tax..

Dad’s coffee cup says, “Ok Dad”. LOL!

It would be wise to keep out of Sterling’s way. Sugar just amps up his condition.

I only discovered this strip two or three months ago, but it has become one of my “must reads.” I think they’re all doozies.

Always the biggest laugh….HA!!!

Soooooo tired of that old “sugar rush” nonsense. Do you know what a real sugar rush is called – Diabetic Ketoacidosis (DKA) – and it can be fatal unless treated with Insulin. Humans (even little kids) naturally regulate their blood sugar with insulin produced by their pancreas. The body NEVER (unless you’re a diabetic) allows the sugar level to rise too high, certainly no where close to effecting their behavior. So there IS NO SUCH THING AS A SUGAR RUSH (so stop treating it like it’s cocaine for kids) – that myth was made up in a Womens Magazine back in the 60’s. The only thing that too much sugar does to kids is make them fat.
