    I know you mean well Lio, but butterball turkeys are bred so specifically to be food that they can’t survive outside very long or even breed without outside help.

    Still you probably made a couple coyotes and bobcats very happy and they’re thankful for you!

    Butterball and other commercially raised turkeys are white, and the colored plumage turkeys are typically able to survive better on their own.
