Firing is a trick, cutting benefits while giving a raise is a trick, raise in responsibilities without raise in pay…

My wife finally asked for a raise. Why? Because they had reduced the staff of her qualifications from four to two, gave her a supervisory role in addition to her regular work, promised they would reduce the load because of the supervisory role but didn’t, and then tried to add more to her load than legally allowed. Since she is one of only two in her position, and they can’t find anyone to replace her, she is in the diver’s seat. Plus, she turns 65 next year and can just retire if she wants
