I had a student like this. Not kidding. He worked in HR for a supermarket chain, and he’d come to English tutoring sessions smelling like a toilet. Designer clothes, made to order shoes, and a reek of gas station toilet at 10 AM. I couldn’t bring myself to say, “Dude, you stink” but I did wonder how or why no one in his household ever mentioned it.
