Even if there really isn’t, if your mind says there is, there is. Your mind is a powerful place. Home, a warm fire, a snack and a nap sounds mighty fine.

To bring reality into your anxieties, Fred: as far as I know there are no wolfes on your big Island. Perhaps it is your own heavy breathing you hear and some little animals rustling in the bushes. Nothing to fear at night in the woods- except maybe some stupid humans. Ok, that does not help. I can see that. Be home safe in a few :-D

Hey friends! I made it :-D am on a day out today. Had my “walkie” on Fehmarn today. Then just had some breakfast (~3 pm) in the car. It is getting overcast now and the wind speeds up. I will leisurely drive back home in a few. Salty smelling greetings to all of you❣️

The problem is, all perceptions are processed in the mind; if your brain is telling you that you are hearing footsteps and heavy breathing, you are hearing those things … even if they have no physical reality.

Not unless the local safari park/zoo has let them escape – there may be some badgers or deer that may give you a hard time though.
