My kid, a milk white carrot top with light gray eyes, use to get sunburned on the playground in January. I had to send them in with a bottle of sunblock and a doctor’s note.

You can technically get sunburnt any time of the year, you just need to receive enough exposure to sunlight. I think the real reason we generally don’t in the colder months is because that’s usually when we’re the most bundled up and don’t have enough exposed to burn.

It’s almost 80 degrees here in New Hampshire today.

That one house has the music cranked way up.

It must be very cold. its 30 degrese every day here in utah.

There was a guy in my dorm at the UW known as “Sun God” because he was always tanning himself whenever there was any amount of sunshine. He was also what they used to call a “professional student” since he was at least in his late 20s and more likely in his early 30s. I came back from Christmas Vacation one year and it was 9 degrees outside with crystal blue skies. There he was laying on a recliner on the patio in his shorts, shirt off, working on his tan. It didn’t seem like he could get any darker but he was always willing to give it a go.

How long was he recharging?
