I am making cranberry sauce this week. Mine will not contain anything except water, sugar, and cranberries. I will take it to my brother’s house for Thanksgiving. Everyone but my brother likes it. He prefers the canned stuff.

I’m ordering a turkey and cranberry pizza, although I’d prefer pineapple.

Big Shirley’s going to need a bigger bowl.

What a difference an exclamation mark makes

The horseradish made me think immediately of NPR’s “Mama Stamberg’s Cranberry Relish” (Cranberries, onion, sugar, horseradish, sour cream) which is pretty doggone good if you prefer savory over sweet’n’sour. Once you’ve tried it, the rest of these ingredients don’t seem quite so far-fetched.
