My curiosity is piqued too! Can’t wait for what could possibly happen next…. just hope this isn’t a single, but the start of a series……
love the expressions of both in the third panel!
I never cease to be amazed and delighted at Watterson’s facial expressions for Calvin. As great as his writing is, look at that last frame. How did he get that?
My granddaughter’s will be 3 years old in January and has started with the what will you do if I do this stage. I still have her bumperpad on her crib because she’s an active dreamer. She wanted to know what it was for the other day. I have it tied in bows all around the rails instead of knots because it’s easier to change that way for washing. I thought a couple came undone while she napped. I tied them back up and then went back in the room to find a couple more undone. I asked her if she did it and she laughed. I told her not to because I’d just have to retie them if she did. She left them alone just until she left with her Dad apparently because I came in and found them all undone even on the side by the wall. What a cutie!
Dino-1 - horror story: my (male) coworker was on stay at home duty with his 3 year daughter one day. She was playing happily in the toy room blocked off by a toddler gate. The front door was locked via deadbolt too high for a toddler to reach. So he thought it was safe to go number 2. When he came out, she had climbed over the gate, pushed a chair to the front door, turned the dead bolt, run outside, and disappeared.
He ran out looking for her, and spied her several blocks away. But just before he got there, police arrived and would not let him have his kid. Someone had seen a toddler strolling down the sidewalk and called 911. His daughter was taken by social workers and he was prosecuted. After several months, and 10s of thousands of dollars in legal fees, he and his wife were allowed to have their daughter back - on probation, with regular meetings with a social worker to ensure a politically correct upbringing.
Don’t you have this “ñ” key between the “L” and “{” keys?
Never mind: I don’t have the “Д” key
( ^ o ^ )
If Hobbes comes at 90 mph, Calvin should be at this moment at 91 mph.
I just now saw it. I dont type alot in Spanish, and my laptop is from England, so I wasnt sure where it was. Just as long as people knew what I was trying to type, I’m happy.
cater to your curiosity Calvin, because twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do…
But today the things you did now are going to hurt more.

Tigers and cats dont seem to like water come to think of it Dads are the same
Try again sometimes Calvin its fun
Extensive research (lol) shows that tigers don’t really mind water; it’s annoying little boys messing up their nap time that really gets them going. And yes, this works for Dads too.
Stuart G - I’ve lived through my 3 children at the age of 3 and all I have to say about your friend is what if his daughter had gotten hit by a car? Then, instead of being hassled with lawyers and fines, he would be “hassled” with burying his 3 y.o. My children knew every scary thing that could possibly happen to them if they opened the front door without mom or dad…and they never did open the door without our express permission. Never underestimate kids.

C’mon, Hobbes, it’s only water! The only surprise is that this isn’t revenge for all the times you’ve K.O.’d Calvin with your flying tiger tackles.

Dino be careful, the little darling might find her curiosity piqued by knots. At which point she’ll tie them into everyone’s shoes…

It probably takes a few seconds for Hobbes to get up to 90mph. If he can time it right, Calvin should step to one side and leave his foot out.

Love it. Hobbes finally gets the pay-back he so richly deserves.

Calvin can think up such odd stuff, even ways of animating a stuffed tiger, especially one who was just “water ballooned.”

Hey Stuart D – that’s precisely why I left Children’s Protective Services – too many innocents in trouble with the law for the obvious.
