I bought the paperback when it first came out in 1967. I still haven’t got past page 40.

The reward for reading Ulysses is that you don’t have to read Ulysses any more. Or ever again.

Never read it……and I’m certainly not going to now! Phew!!

Was the first book I learned that just because I started it didn’t mean I had to slog through and finish it. Also that just because it’s ‘called’ a classic doesn’t mean it’s good.

ulysses is the perfect sleep aid, the book that after a couple pages you tell yourself, right, now for some elmore leonard…

I tried to read Ulysses once. Didn’t get very far.
