I was set to go on a road trip in a few months with a friend who was going to take his dog with him. I arrived at his place yesterday to see a puddle around the pads in the kitchen. That does not instill confidence that I will get my hotel deposits back every day. Still, the dog was excited to see me, running back and forth in anticipation of meeting me rather than just letting me pet her. I may just have to tell my friend that I can’t afford the trip after all. Too bad, because he told me one of his college professors is still alive and wanted to meet us.
Awww…. Rover is becoming anxious and jealous of anyone else that becomes close to Red. Enjoy the time, Rover. That special relationship ends when Red is around 16 and other ‘interests’ take control of him.

Oh, dear—I hope this doesn’t end up in a fight between those two. It wouldn’t be half as funny as when Hobbes pounces on Calvin.

Rover! Such language. However, you raise an important point that may provide a lesson and help Red avoid a future moral dilemma.

I’ll admit it. After all these years, I still have a thing for Nancy McKeon.

“I have a bone to pick with you, young man.” Very appropriate phrasing from a dog.

Everybody has their fantasies, unless they’re a ROBOT. But now even ROBOT’s have fantasies. So would that be “everything has a fantasy”
