I’d say with Laura’s income, he should fire this one.

You never know who is actually nice and does not seem so.

When I was much younger (about to be married in my late 20s) I had a client who had been very upset that I was who my boss sent to do his books . I looked much younger than I was and I started working for boss/going to this client just out of college and I had graduated from same at 20. Client was always upset and “looking over my shoulder” – which I understood as I looked even younger than I was.

It was my last visit to him before my summer vacation and my wedding. (I had been doing his books for about 5 years.) He kept me waiting and waiting for him to meet with me, as I finished up, for him to sign checks and for me to tell him if there were any adjustments to his checking account balance, etc. I was getting more and more annoyed. Then – it turned out that he had kept me waiting as he had not had a chance to wrap a wedding gift he had bought for me! I did not expect same from any of my clients and of them all – from him the least. So I learned not to expect anyone to be what they usually seem to be .
