I still use the tray toaster we bought. Four slices of sugar toast at one time! Plus, I get the crust of hers.

That toast is toast.

We named our toaster Burnie.

I have a well-behaved toaster. My toast comes out just the way I like it, lightly golden.

Cast Iron griddle ! Takes a little longer with better results !

My toaster hates me. :)

My mom used to say: “First you burn it, then you scrape it, or it wouldn’t be toast.” We had one of those toasters with doors on either side, & you had to watch carefully & flip the toast so it wouldn’t burn. I was the only one in the family who could do it reliably, so I got put in charge of toast. Good times…
