My third favorite team beat my fourth favorite team. My favorite is the Reds, second is the Twinkies, third is whoever is playing the Yankees and fourth is whoever is playing the Dodgers. I chose not to watch because I knew the outcome I wanted would not happen—for them both to lose.
No matter how much their paidmp, game still played by humans, and humans make mistakes. The Yankees lost series 4-1, there were other factors, besides the 5 inning of game 5.
I don’t follow sports, but do follow Tank McNamara. Sometimes, like today, I wish someone would write a good description of what the heck the characters are talking about.
In this case, both:
1) What specific game are they talking about? Why is it significant beyond a win/loss?
2) Why is it a problem that Junior is watching this recording?
Lifelong Dodger fan. This is TLDR and CSB: Basically, when I was 8 or 9 I was at a pool party and served lemonade and snacks to a Mr and Mrs Robinson. After it was over my grandfather asked me what I thought of them, “Mr Robinson is a nice guy, but Mrs Robinson is fierce.” I tell the full story at times to people I see in a Dodgers cap and up here in BC that is not very often. And then I stick out my hand and tell them, “You just shook the hand of a man who shock the hand of Jackie Robinson and got a hug from Rachel”. I own several football and hockey jerseys but only one baseball jersey. You get one guess.

And the Lions didn’t win, the Texans lost because of the missed 58 yard field goal. Jarod Goff threw FIVE picks.

Have him watch Game Six of the 1986 World Series, or, “It Ain’t Over Till It’s Over.”

Yah. It was a good year. The Yankees lost and even better, the Dodgers won.

I would save the recording. It’s always nice to revisit good times in these times …
