If Brutus is such minus, why does Veeblefester keep him on the payroll?

Credits to the left of me. Debits to the right. Oh, what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive.

Brutus ought to know by now that the chief hasn’t got a complement in him for Brutus.

Veeblefester, you’d be lost without Brutus as a scapegoat for all your failings.

I think Brutus boss is hanging around the old battle axe. Gosh, would it hurt to say something nice once in awhile? You might lift Brutus spirits and then he would try harder.

Didn’t know that the boss had a sense of humor and a quick wit. But most importantly, he gave credit to Brutus in a public forum. A good sign that he appreciates Brutus…..

Exactly how many tea cosy experts are there these days? Brutus is uniquely qualified.

Prime example of Hostile Work Environment.

Most non-accountants and non-bankers get tripped up by the use of the words credit and debit. I’m guessing that the other people in the meeting probably had the same understanding of the word as Brutus did. But Veebs never misses an opportunity to slam his favorite foil. His life would be so empty without Brutus.

Saying someone is a credit to the company is considered a praise, if you don’t bring accounting into the picture.

Credits are also Revenue.

In accounting, payroll is a liability, and Brutus is the companies least liability (gets paid the least) which is why he is kept on the payroll.

Lets just hope the rest of the team took it as a plus for Brutus. He should teach his boss how to count whats important.
