Language is a consensus. If the majority of people think a word means something, then that’s what it means for all intents and purposes.

In the first panel, her hair blends in with her jacket which makes it look like she has a huge amount of hair.

How about we meet in the middle and call it “Hot chocolate”, Marigold?

Oh yes. Two of the grandest “things” of all we call Dad and Mom.

We try to be a bit more focused on efficiency. We only actually succeed roughly half the time at best, but at least we try. :P

The more important objects have shorter names allowing the brain to find them more quickly alphabetically; mom dad cat dog food bed house ouch.
