There is no wrong train, it’s just a new adventure a little out of the comfort zone. Unless the conductor looks like the Grim Reaper. I’ll write that song over the next few days. To be continued -—-
I sat at a train station in Korea and watched several trains go by before I realized that I was waiting on the wrong side. All those I watched go by were the ones I wanted to be on.
When my husband was stationed in Germany, we took a train to Paris. The problem is, we somehow ended up on the wrong train. Even worse, it was completely empty, and we didn’t have a clue as to where we would end up. Luckily, we were able to get off at the next station and get on the right one. While in France, we ended up in an empty baggage compartment of a train for which we had first-class tickets. Again, we were lucky because it stopped about 20 minutes later, and we were able to ride in comfort after that. I laugh now, but it wasn’t so funny back then.

True. It ranks right down there with hearing from the confessional, “Bless me, Father, for I have sinned. I murdered a priest.”

… or that the train you are on is heading in the wrong direction.
… or that you have missed your stop
… or that you’ve missed the train completely.

Robert Frost might have alternately written “The Track Not Taken”:
…
“I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.”

If you’re on that “Long Black Train” Gospel song, sung by Josh Turner – it’s a Train to HELL and the Engineer is the Devil.

Aunty, you’re not on the wrong train, you’re on the wrong planet. Kepler-Drunk is 4.22 light years away.

Some voters in this country have been on the left track – and ‘the wrong freakin’ train – for years.
