The word “integrity” should never be used by the NFL. There’s less than zero reason for them not to allow a coaches challenge when there’s less than 2 minutes left.
As for “pressuring” the NFLto bring more integrity into the game……. “Moose. Rocco. Help the Judge find his wallet.”
a challenge flag won’t help any of the recent complaints.
You can challenge: 1) completed pass yes/no – inbounds? maintain control, 2) runner down prior to fumble, 3) runner down yes/no – stepped out of bounds?, knee/body part down? 4) goal line challenges, 5) ball spotting (sometimes). Basically possession question, end of play question and TD question yes/no questions. (plus # of players on fields)
You cannot challenge penalties or ask for one to be called. Many of these demands relate to that – was their a foul missed (e.g. Detroit).
During the 2 minute warning – these are auto reviewed by the booth and the ref is notified if they need to look. This is done to prevent teams from throwing a flag just to stop the clock/break momentum/take a break. Especially offenses who don’t care about a clock runoff or even a penalty from a failed challenge.

The reason play review even exists is because of gambling.
They do it in horse races, for the exact same reason.

The part that kills me is the word irrefutable. If it takes longer than 30 seconds it is not irrefutable. Play call stands.

the officials can ONLY call what they see
the replays show a variety of angles using slow motion, freeze, and zoom but they NEVER show the perspective of the official that made the call.
