I had to go look that one up because my store hasn’t sold a corded mower for many years now. And yep, you can still find a couple out there.

I have used nothing but an electric mower for 50+ years now and have never had a problem with a tangled cord or a run-over-and-cut cord. I learned from my Dad that electric was the only way to go, he always had a gas mower and when I turned 13 the mowing became MY job. I could never get the dang thing to start, I’d wear my arm out trying. Then when it would start it ran out of gas and Dad hadn’t refilled the jerry can. Now worries with electric.

I have a corded electric leaf blower. Quieter than gas so as not to antagonize the neighborhood. And corded rather than battery because I have a large area to deal with. Repeatedly. Many times between early October and mid January when the last birch leaves fall.

Actually makes a lot more sense than a battery that will have to be thrown out in a couple of years.
