I can see it now: Dee becomes the star of the PSA, it gives her many opportunities in the acting world, until it all goes away because someone recorded and leaks the footage of this freak-out.

She’s either gonna overplay it, or play it over what was needed. There’s only a rare chance she’ll strike the exact right chord.

Better let Dee Dee break a leg before she breaks yours, Francis.

I only became a Big Nate fan fairly recently, and the kid in the last Strip looks like Dexter from Dexter’s Lab (where he has a Sister named Dee Dee).

How did she realize that Francis was the “him”

Oh this will be fun!

Yeah, Francis is pretty sweet I think he’ll say yes to Deedee. Nice to see an old-fashioned arc like this.

It’s nice, here we get to see more of Nate’s friends and Nate as well.

Ok why is Dee Dee named Dee Dee

Mr. Peirce has an uncanny knack of creating annoying characters. Dee Dee has taken the onus of being annoying off Nate for awhile. This is most refreshing and why I keep coming back for more.

Who’s HIM? Voldemort? (By the way, I know it’s Francis I’m just messing around)

I adore that last panel! Punchlines in this arc have been great!

Looks like the user who theorised it will involve Francis was right! Let’s see if we skip straight to filming or (more likely) these two debate it!
