it’s perplexing indeed, I wouldn’t know whether to call this an improvement on Andy’s behalf or is it a deterioration O_o

Love how that window stretches from one frame to another. I’ve seen that done in “Archie” comic books—only there, it’s usually girls’ bodies taking up several frames.

One of those rare flashes of nostalgia…

I seem to remember the canal being full of Andy this time of night.

Andy looks fairly sober. Chalkie must have run out of money.

Ha! Ha! They should live here, in St. George, Utah. There’s a postcard that’s solid black except for the words: “St. George after eight pm”

Both should be relaxing with a cold one.

The called him “the Village idiot”—-and he lived in London

Chalkie must have been a bit short of cash for Andy to not so balmy. A bad night of night cadging.

Just means you didn’t do your job of getting him drunk.

He said what I thought!

If Andy can remember something, he obviously didn’t get drunk enough.

At that time of night Andy remembers falling in the canal but he never remembers when he’s near the canal and what happens.

Civilization is catching on in Andy’s neighborhood.
