Spaniel or Retriever? From the looks of it a Sussex Spaniel.

The tail wagging gives it away! A Spaniel’s tail is like an electric fan.

He’s a bird dog! (Reference to the Everly Brothers);)

But he has a gentle mouth, same as my GSP.

….bug eyes!!!!

Maybe that’s Larry Bird’s dog.

If it weren’t a bird dog, he’d be dead. Bird dogs have “soft mouths.”

Ya think?

At least he shouldn’t eat you, as they are trained not to. But then again, tomorrow IS Thanksgiving and he might just want an early snack…..
