Apologies for falling off on the weekend strips. I was busy preparing for the Maine Comics Festival, today. Please enjoy this classic CHPMNK strip from the BL archives, while I get ahead on next week’s strips.
If you’re in the Portland, ME area today, stop by and check out the festival. Over 70 comic artists and me… Selling books and shirts, as well as signing and drawing some original art! I’ll also being doing a panel at 1pm with Norm Feuti of “Retail” and Lincoln Peirce of “Big Nate”.
Thanks Corey for the explanation. I THOUGHT I remembered this strip from earlier days, but my memory isn’t what it used to be, so am glad to know it wasn’t wrong this time. I really enjoy the chipmonks and their missions!
Corey, would be there if I could, but that’s a long journey to make for one day! Love the chipmunks and hope you continue to do the Sunday strips the old way!
Fair enough, Pandy. Occasional Classics are acceptable fare. After all, some readers haven’t been there for the entire series. In fact, you must have many Sunday panels already inked, so you could run them and use the time to invent and build up stock of new ones.

Now I wish there really was a cereal called Cooties that has a pterodactyl as its mascot.

Well, he missed Saturday and Monday both, now. Pandolph back to his old habits, it seems. Ah, well, it was a nice, 5 day run.

After all the dramatized soul-searching, coming-to-terms, getting-off-to-a-fresh-start, new-commitment, no-more-excuses storyline…
Didn’t even make it a whole week.
I think the word is anticlimax, folks.
