Why I don’t want plastic glass frames anymore.

Did he bump into the door while looking for his glasses that were on top of his head? If so, double shame on Opal for not clueing him when she coulda/shoulda.

That’s what superglue was made for. Broke my glasses right across the top of my nose one time (45 years ago) during a driving trip to Texas to show off the babe in arms. Tried duck tape. No joy. Bought some super glue at the gas station store and (being unable to drive w/out glasses) sat in the passenger seat for 5 minutes holding them FIRMLY together. Wore them for the two weeks it took to get home and order a new pair. Kept ’em for a decade or so as backup glasses, then double-backup glasses. They never came apart.

He is now in-ducted into the Nerd Army.

Dang, Opal. Don’t overwhelm him with all your concern.

All because she was being a (not nice word) and wouldn’t just tell him where his glasses were.

There is nothing wrong with nerds, they are cool.

Had she told him where his glasses were in the first place, he wouldn’t have broken them.

Just pull out your wand and do a Repairo spell.

Although unsure if he ever used duct tape for his glasses, I’m getting a ‘Harold Green’ vibe for Earl. After all, Red Green sure did enjoy duct tape.
