After time, most comic strips grow stale from a dearth of originality. Maybe it’s then time to retire them, as Bill Watterson wisely did with “Calvin & Hobbes”.

Meanwhile, she’s hoping he’ll get off the couch and get a job. Forlorn hopes, both.

Andy’s hoping his mother in law is referring to Kate Moss.

In that case, all of them will be singing. “I can’t get no satisfaction”.

I thought he was going to say “run over by a reindeer.”

I especially like the one piece base board going up the stairs.

A comic about Andy being covered in Moss is just Stirling.

I think the Rolling Stones might have slowed down a little and might have a little moss…

Before this comic became so PC and the Capps quit brawling, I’m sure Flo’s reply to her mum would have been along the lines of “It’s hard to hit a moving target! …”

I always liked Andy’s mum better than Flo’s. Once Jackie was rushing off with a beer, and Andy was scowling. It turned out it was his mum. Jackie: “Only Capp gets served faster than Capp!”

Off-panel voice: “Want to make something of it?”

Andy: “No, Mum.”
