At least he’s trying it at the belly, not under the belly as I have seen some do.

Don’t wear the suit yet, you’ll blow your cover.

We did not have a chimney (that I knew about) when I was little – we lived in a big apartment building in Brooklyn. Despite being Jewish I did get a few Christmas gifts – which I much later learned were gifts given to my dad by some of his accounting clients for me.

No Chimney, no tree – they were put in front of the – TV. The TV was in a cabinet with doors which opened on the front. I would put my styrofoam reindeer and Santa (no idea why I had same) on top of the TV and the gifts would appear in front of the TV on the floor.

I found out many, many years later that clients of my dad’s would give him a gift for me and my grandfather owned a metal cabinetry factory, his manager (who was Christian) would send a gift for me for Christmas also – and these were my Christmas gifts.

Why the TV? Well, we did not have a fireplace, so in a brilliant idea of modern life – I was told that when the house does not have fireplace Santa leaves the gifts in front of the TV! (The other kids in nursery school all Jewish anyway as it was run by a Jewish organization and I only had one Christmas there while in kindergarten (and they were probably all Jewish there also) so this was never discussed with other children.
