I wanted to join a caroling group. After they heard me sing they decided to pay me not to show up.

I married a lady with two children. All three were/are music adept. Soon after our marriage I was in the kitchen and started singing along with the radio. My stepdaughter, then seven, looked up at me and said “Chuck, don’t.” It stung a little but she had a point.

Mostly hear Brenda Lee’s version of the song.

I remember the Andy Griffith Show when they had that problem with Barney in the church choir.

Bring back the true tradition. It wasn’t just caroling for the enjoyment of your nabors, it was wassailing for the free booze!

I taught kindergarten one year. I had one student looked me dead in the eye and said, “Mr. X you don’t sing very well.”

Merry Christmas

Today is “Go Caroling Day”. Merry Christmas y’all. I went yesterday. There was twenty of us, so the not so good singers were drowned out. Hahaha!

That tambourine is not going to be very welcome when they sing Silent Night. :)
