When I first started working I tried to fit in by watching what the older employees did. Over the ensuing months I learned how to disappear at just the right time before work was assigned, the best places in the building to hide while still looking busy, and numerous other tricks of the lazy.
Before you criticize, walk a mile in their shoes. That way, if the criticism makes them mad, they will be a mile away and barefoot. And that’s when they know you’ve stolen their shoes.
