Some web sites are designed to harass and/or tempt you to complete a sale if you put items in your cart and then abandon them.
In a shop I go buy what I came for and come back to it to see if I still want it or if it was a ‘buying splurge’ urge.
Put it in a cart. Asset protection will be less likely to follow you through the store.
I saw a carving of a rhino on sale. After I had gone back to visit it 3 times I realised it was coming home with me. I still have it many years later.
You put in your shopping cart and leave it until—when you decide you probably want it—it’s out of stock.
Before there was online shopping, there were mail order catalogs and pens. You could circle things you wanted, or dog-ear the pages while you were deciding.
