    I’ve been volunteering, personally, at Secours Catholique for almost a year… I love it…

    Before I left the UK, I used to exercise the dogs at our local RSPCA… I loved that too…

    I am with Koko in the last panel: the charities need help all year round. Not only at Xmas times.

    (I purposefully write “Xmas” ’cause for me this stands for the commercially infected parts of Christmas and most people seem to notice only for this occation that others may need help.)

    Be more charitable and donates to poor hungry bears so that we can bears the weenter.

    Very true. Charities receive most of the money on Christmas time, but would prefer to receive some during the rest of the year too as their work never stop.

    I donate to charities by a monthly gift plan. They like that as they can budget easier. I also volunteer at an animal shelter. Do not forget to include your preferred charities in your wills.

    I donate on a monthly schedule to our local food bank and parrot rescue. Other charities get an annual donation.
