An officially jarring comment

Excellent officiating of the game is good?

Depends on if you won or not.

Definitely not in the WNBA.

I don’t know a whole lot of fans who complain about the officiating after a game … that their team won.

Or come to think of it, talk about the officiating at all – their team won because they were the better team (“obviously”). So Arlo is right to point out an unusual comment, all things considered.

They are wearing Auburn’s colors, JJ’s alma mater.

Football has been over for Auburn for several weeks they must be talking about basketball.

My guys in orange last week apparently did not come “ready to play.” In fact, I was thinking that they had forgotten how to play. Typical.

My favorite is when a guy gets clobbered illegally and the officials are obviously on their phones making dinner plans. Then a minute later they call someone for the exact same thing.

How about that old William Bendix movie, “Kill The Umpire.”

I’d say Arlo’s comment is fair game

When the game comes on after dark, you sit there watching it all night, and your team loses, you get the full “waste of time” experience.
