Sad, but true. After surviving 2020 I have come to the conclusion that a lot of you would not survive a zombie apocalypse.

Although true, it doesn’t help that the makers of said technology continuously employ addictive and compulsive tactics to get us to keep using it.

Or that some technology just really shouldn’t be used because it violates all sense and laws but gets a free pass when if a person did 1/1,000,000th what they’ve done they’d be sued for millions. And were.

I used to be a computer teacher at a primary school (grades 1-10). One time, when everyone had finished their assignments, I gave the kids a free time, when they could do anything they wanted on the computer that period. Every one – without exception – went to a chat site (this was before instant messaging) and started chatting with each other.

I have seen this in a coffee shop. Two kids sitting at a table messaging each other.

Consider how companies, countries, and others may be using it to use, manipulate, and control you

Progress is a two edged sword. I am sticking with my flip phone cause I can’t put my laptop in my pocket.

Is the tool the device, or the one using it?

Like most technology, it’s easier and more profitable to abuse it. Say hello to all your new friends on Facebook. They are the real shiny plastic people.
