Our little dog, Chewy, sniffed a baby snake once and got to spend the day with a puffed up nose and an i.v. bag! He had more lives than a cat!

I wish! Though I don’t want them to be hurt, the pups at work are too rough with the turtles they catch. Thankfully they have finally learned the ‘drop it’ command.

Our dog had a gentle mouth. She would collect turtles when hubby took her hunting. When they were getting ready to go home, after the dog had herded the turtles all day and hubby missed everything he shot at, he would tell the dog to put the turtles back where she found them. She did and the turtles didn’t have any sign of being picked up in the dog’s mouth.
