"Sensational, Lucy! SENSATIONAL!" Charlie Brown congradulates Lucy as KLUNK! Her golf ball lands in the hole.<BR><BR> He points and says, "Now, this last hole is a 'dog-leg'...See? Past that big tree out there, over the bend, around the stream and there you are.." "I am?" Lucy asks.<BR><BR> WHOP! She swings her golf club. He cheers her on: "Beautiful shot, Lucy! Beautiful!"<BR><BR> They are silhouetted in this panel as Charlie Brown stands in the background and says, "TERRIFIC LUCY! TERRIFIC!" The ball slips just past the hole in the forground of the panel.<BR><BR> "The way you were playing today, Lucy, I'll bet you could beat anyone around here!" Charlie Brown carries her golf bag and follows her.<BR><BR> "What's this?" Charlie Brown asks as they stop in front of a brick wall, where s aposter hangs. It reads, 'Announcing! Women's 1954 State Amateur Championship'<BR><BR> "Say!" Charlie Brown smiles, leaning against the golf bag. Lucy protests, "Charlie Brown! Surely, you don't think I.."<BR><BR> Lucy clasps her hands over her mouth and declares, "Oh, no!! - I couldn't! I'd die! I'd just die!" The sign next to her reads, 'Next Week Lucy Plays in Her First Golf Tournament "FORE!"'<BR><BR>

Her shots are good on greens. A swing nevertheless has problems whatsoever.
