they didn’t move your dog house on national dog week, so you are correct Snoopy! They wouldn’t have moved you!

It’s to be remembered that this comic was first published just as the Civil Rights Movement was active, and “We Shall Not Be Moved” was a famous song they used in their protests. This was about a week after RFK’s speech on May 6, 1961 which marked the Kennedy administration’s first endorsement of the Civil Rights Movement.
