Charlie Brown says, "You say my being a slow reader is not caused by needing glasses?" Linus replies, "Probably not . . ."<BR><BR> Linus continues, "Slow reading in children is often the result of 'mixed brain dominance' . . . A person is right handed because the left side of his brain is dominant . . ."<BR><BR> Lucy comes up as Linus says, "Now if you are ambidextrous or if you have been forced to write with the wrong hand this may produce 'mixed brain dominance' . . ."<BR><BR> Linus turns to Charlie Brown and says, "If this is true, we can rule out poor vision as the cause of your slow reading . . ." Lucy asks, "Have you ruled out stupidity?"<BR><BR>

That would also explain the problems Chuck has when writing. He is using the non-dominant hand.

Being right-handed or left-handed has nothing to do with what side of the brain is dominant; but it is true that the left side of your brain controls the right side of your body and vice versa.
