When I spent my summers at my grandfather’s farm, the pigs did indeed seem to like slop.

    I don’t think so!!

Cleo–Yet, pigs are one of the cleanest animals! When given the room and freedom to decide, pigs choose to be clean and tidy. Go figure!!

I’m not much of a cook. My son and I used to call some of my concoctions Glop, due to the sound made landing on the plate. Taste was OK, and we both survived.

I’m in the same boat doc If you look at my son and I , well you can see us we haven’t missed many meals

Pigs can’t sweat, hence the need to stay cool in water, or mud, if that’s all they have. Likewise, if they have no choice, slop would taste pretty good.

But “chicken”? EWW. I supposed that’s a stand by joke about anything we this is weird- tastes just like chicken, we are told.

Joe Allen Doty- That is what our farm slop was, basically the trimmings from fruit and veggies. Just what I would use to make a stock today, minus the fruit.
