truly, the norsemen beat columbus to the ‘new’ world by some 400 years, but their public relations with the rest of their continent wasn’t so good
not that the contamination of 400 more years of european culture and enforced christianity and genocide would have improved this pretty much untouched, unspoiled paradise
but, I suppose it was inevitable…..man must explore and if necessary ,conquor
