This strip is one of the few hopes of comics these days, if you ask me. Not that anyone has asked me.

Awww! Summer fun in the wild Depths is over! Alas!

Alas, summer is at its end. I am now thinking of closing my pool, and I hate the thought of it. I love seeing it out there. I hate to cover it up. My melancholy matches LIO’s.

Beautifully drawn strip. I’m feeling rather poorly this morning, but Lio, as usual, brought a smile to my face. Gotta go to work.

Good point, Carmy; plus I’m sure when winter comes, Lio can have all sorts of snow adventures (involving yeti, perhaps?)

The fish and the pirate skeleton go back into Lio’s brain to be brought out at an opportune time. Thankfully Lio is good natured, otherwise that sadness could turn to anger and that brain could find ALL KINDS of uses for that gascan!

Every panel is beautifully drawn. Each one would make a great page in a children’s book. Mark – You should take a few of your Sunday panels and turn them into hardcover books, you could be the next Dr. Seuss.

Thanks to that first panel, Lio can now say that he got into a knife fight while looking for booty. 8)

That’s not dad’s gas can, that’s part of Lio’s next project!

I think the first panel would look great as an aquarium set-up!
