Now not only I need a job (been searching since January), but also a bar/café-like place (instead of alcohol or coffee, maybe an herbal tea) to tell friends, acquaintances and strangers my stories and troubles. (If there are still any around, maybe a soda fountain like my great-grandfather used to own in Safford, Arizona, which also had a pharmacy).
“people always seem to have enough money for their cigarettes, booze, weed etc… but not enough for anything else.”
I’ve noticed the lower the income of the neighborhood a Wal-Mart is in, (I tend to shop at several) the higher percentage of people smoking in the parking lot. I would also add cable TV to the list. I’ve never had cable or satellite TV, but I know people on food stamps who do.

sorry, hipster. that’s more of a truism. it seems to me a political statement is something that can be argued.
