Lucas says he has something in the works - a SW tv series, another clone war movie and maybe the long awaited follow up to the Luke Skywalker saga… Mind you, he says that pretty much every year, so who knows?
Well Binkley Walker has gotten carried away with his Jedi status.
Of all 6 movies : Star Wars, The Empire Stikes Back, Return of the Jedi, Phantom Menace, The Clone Wars, and Return of the Sith; the first 3, I can watch over and over. The 4th has cool new characters and some good historical value. The last 2 can’t hold my interest.
I won’t expect much if there will be more to come, but if another movie does arise I will see it, thumbs up or thumbs down.
actually, the clone wars were before episode IV (or should have been, according to Lucas originally professed timeline). there was talk, at the time (early 80’s late 70’s) that episodes 7, 8, & 9 would be about setting up a “new” republic and that there would be a similar time lag between episodes 6 & 7 as between episodes 3 & 4. Lucas later said that if the last three episodes were ever to see the light of day (maybe he meant “dark of theatre”) it would be someone else who would be making them.
if memory serves me correctly.
The “Clone Wars” were between Episodes II and III. Grant you “the killing of the younglings” in Episode III was disturbing but what would you do if you lost someone you deeply loved t and there was a possibility of losing someone just as important? Darth “Sideous” took advantage of Annikin’s feelings toward Padme and his mother and seduced him with the promise of saving Pame.
He tried to same with Luke but, he hadn’t had time to nurture their “friendship”.

Try more like 25 years, and for disappointing sequels at that….

if only we’d struck him down before he disappointed us…

“Adventure, heh…excitement, heh…sequels, heh…a Jedi craves not these things!”

Hey, I’m still waiting for Chapters VII, VIII and IX! Think we’ll ever see them?

Is there a pattern here with The Argyle Sweater?

But if you struck him down, he would have become more powerful.

As long as it doesn’t have Jar Jar Binks in it.

Muie, muie, I love you.

Binkey… you could have used a Jedi mind trick. Most Star Wars characters traditionally just loose a hand or an arm. LOL! :-D

Well, This comic strip turns out to be rather prophetic.

Where are you now Binkley Walker? Please help us, you’re our only hope. Oh yeah, and bring extra light sabres.

I watched Empire Strikes back and Return of the Jedi a lot…a LOT. As. A. KID.
I watched them again, recently.
They’re still for kids.

Mr. Breathed was only off by a year. Phantom came out in ‘99.

At least here we get Binkley Walker and not Jar Jar Binkley.
