These days the air smells a little worse than dirty sock politics.

Communism smells like rot and excrement, not socks. Good thing this strip is 25 years old.

Then again, Brethead continually beheld with the rot and excrement side of politics, so if he wrote this today, this communist destruction would smell like roses and candy to Milo.

To the comment below this: Obama IS a communist. If you can’t see that, you need to look closer. It’s not a secret. There is no “democracy” in communism, or in an outright hijacking of the US economy or Constitution, brad. Besides, we are not a democracy, we are a republic. There are no emperors or dictators. We The People decide through so called representaives. We’ve been hijacked by communists. Look up those Czars he has, and half his cabinet. They don’t just disagree with he right. That isn’t why they’re communists. They’re communists because they worship Mao and Che and Marx, and vowed to destroy the US economy in the same vain as their communist heroes, who’s books they quote from constantly. If you really knew what you were talking about, you’d know what the words they say mean. They’re straight from Rules For Radicals and The Communist Manifesto, verse for verse. Now laugh, brad!

I read the strip 1st time around, I know its political views. I get a kick out of people calling our current situation “communism” or even “socialism” when they clearly have no idea what either really is. Disliking the “right” wing does not make you communist, it is simply a different view of Democracy. There are lots of successful democracies in the world, none of them align with the “right” in the U.S.

Skywalker; this is a republic & We The People elected Mr. Obama & a majority Democatic congress, knowing that they’ve wanted socialized medicine for over half a century. Many socialist leaders have been democratically elected, worldwide, usually in response to a greed driven, top heavy economy.

Milo and Opus are both wrong; there’s an old dog turd behind the meadow sign.

And on that subject, I’ll just let the political ranters clean up after themselves.
