They was a a miming ” Police, Police Help Help” an he was a pummelling them with an Olive Leaf. (probably a Palistinian)

I’m not up to speed here yet……maybe I’ll figure out what’s going on tomorrow. Does Opus eat “Olive Loaf”? What IS olive loaf?

I freely admit that I consider mime maiming a minor misdemeanor meriting minimal punishment.

What a waste of a good olive loaf. Why not pants a mime?

Something tells me a news story back in the ‘80’s that no one here remembers anymore is the punch line for this story today.

The only thing that I could think of is Bernard Goetz, the Subway Vigilante from NYC. That was in Dec of ‘84.

laxxcoach: That’s the one. I remember when this strip first came out in the wake of that incident. 4 guys tried to mug him on the subway, and he pulled a gun to defend himself and shot all 4. He ended up being charged with possession of an unlicensed handgun.

Thirdguy, if kreole is a loozyana kreole, he/she definitely knows what head cheese is, but may not know about olive loaf.

please! i am trying to track down the strip where steve dallas’s back is broken, he’s in the brace, his girlfriend is breaking up with him, because his body is broken and his mind is cabbage!

this is probably a totally unreasonable request, but if anyone has any idea how to find this strip, i would be super pleased :)

Olive Loaf was Meat’s sister; her singing career fizzled out early on, so no one remembers her today.
