Based on spelling, I can’t tell if Opus is going in search of small interlocking plastic bricks, or if his goal is those waffles Oliver was talking about the other day.
Or, like somebody already said, maybe it’s an effort to avoid copyright infringement.
Or, this is just what happened before Google was around to help comic artists resolve last-minute orthographic uncertainties.

You know, I’ve read this strip a dozen times. I’ve just realized that LEGO is spelled wrong. I guess that’s one way to avoid copyright infringement.
