I remember the stupid word “womyn”, to get the word “man” out of there. Changing “Manhole covers” to “Personal access covers”, etc. Seriously. As a woman, I found it to be ridiculous.

Hard to believe the PC crap was going on way back then.

And I have sometimes referred to the one province in Canada as Personitoba. But only as humour. WHen I thought people would “get” it, and they did.
