I have thought about why they hate us. It’s because they hate (in no particular order) life, happiness, reality, freedom, civilization, modernity, women, reason, science, and… well, you get the idea.

For Huey to ask that question is equivalent to asking why do so many bigots hate blacks. The very act of asking the question accepts their evil beliefs as the starting point.

The first point is regurgitated, profoundly bigoted right wing sound bites. The second point is totally logic free. I’ve read the two sentences several times and my reaction is “Huh!?!”

It’s because they hate (in no particular order) arrogance, wastefulness, decadence, unmitigated debauchery, rudeness, blatant materialism and the notion that a 200-year-old country thinks it’s the centre of the universe.

The first post on here answers Huey’s question. Lets not forget this was written during the peak of Bush’s folly. Ewennick provides the words that form this matrix and are modeled by the leading comment. BTW pschearer, slick way to work a racist comment into your observation.

Uh huh. Our enemies also hate love, flowers, puppies, sunshine, and Aretha Franklin, because they’re just plain evil! We’ve never ever done anything at all whatsoever to cause them to hate us, not even once, not even a little tiny bit. They’re just mean. Yeah. And jealous.
