the spirit of last xmas didnt do a whole lot of good for that Iraqi family or that patrolling GI blown to bits for bush’s revenge on sadaam

and the thousands that preceded them and those to follow

I don’t know what Aaron McGruder is up to these days, but I wish he’d start writing new strips again. Or at least write some new episodes for the show.

Me also, Parish. Supposedly the show will start again in 2010, but no word on any new strips. It must be hard for him now, not having the Bushmobile careening through the world, stomping and destroying as it goes. “Mission Accomplished!” Right. A real waking nightmare.

I like this. Sort of Aaron’s wry comment on his own political, um, enthusiasm.
