The Boondocks by Aaron McGruder for September 13, 2009
Transcript:
Caesar: I keep getting this forwarded e-mail saying that the voting rights act will expire in 2007, and black people won't be able to vote anymore. Is that true? Huey: That's ridiculous. The voting rights act was a means to enforce the 15th amendment to the constitution, which is what actually gives black people the right to vote. Caesar: Oh. So when does the 15th amendment expire? Huey: That expired November 7, 2000.

Here we go again with the BS about the election of 2000. Y’all say birthers are crazy because they’ve been shown proof, and yet the proof that’s been shown which indicates Bush was legally elected seems to not be enough for you. I’d be willing to bet that if you were omniscient and knew all, you’d find out that more Democrat votes were fraudulently cast in that election nationwide than were supposedly prevented in Floriduh. Get over it. Bush was legally elected, just like President Obama was.
