Transcript:
Huey: Well, this revolution is off to a tremendous start. I'm supposed to be a black leader and my brother is turning into an NRA gun nut... What's he going to do next? Paint the confederate flag on the car? Marry Cindy McPhearson? Caesar: Yeeeesh! I hope he chooses the flag...

ANd this is where Dave Chappelle got the idea for his famous skit.

Most likely, if you mean the blind KKK guy…And the panthers weren’t any diff. Stupidity and hate have no skin tone.

You mention the BPP as if they are relevant to Potrzebie’s comment, which did not say anything about stupidity and hate being exclusive to the Klan.

I happened to be living in Walnut Creek, Ca., back in the 60s and 70s, and had a good friend in the Highway Patrol who was involved in the Oakland gun battle when BP Bobby Hutton was killed ( he was always really pi$$ed at stories Hutton was shot while unarmed and trying to surrender, BTW). I also quit spending evenings in San Francisco when the Zebra killers started shooting random whites. Boy, those were interesting times, people, especially when they were happening right around us. We certainly can’t forget the Symbionese Liberation Army (and Patty Hearst getting kidnapped in Berkeley), and we had the Zodiac killer, then, also, just to show there was no prejudice - VERY interesting times in the San Francisco bay area…

Some of us may remember this stuff, but you never know how much of it might be behind Aaron McGruder’s ideas. According to Wikipedia, he was still in college until barely 10 years ago, though he’s educated in the relevant fields.
Nunya Bidness, I like your screen name! Maybe my own occasional idea isn’t that bad: to rename myself Gnome Sane.

Um Cindy who ? Is she anything like Sarah Palin ?

Cindy is the white girl in the strip and show that is obsessed with hip-hop culture. She is fascinated with black people, particulary Huey and Riley. I guess Jazmine counts.
