American Idol. Music biz is amazing. We have cookie cutter corporate sponsored groups, artists that claw their way up from the streets, artists that get voted in, silver-spoon artists that have been groomed since birth, etc….

Sadly, I am not a fan of overtly ethnic comics. Simply picking on “white” anything is easy for this ‘artist.’ I am sure if I invented a comic strip that railed against blacks and how dastardly they act in school (ask me how I know), it would be emblazoned on the Six O’Clock News.
Sad.

thekingster, you have totally missed the point of what McGruder does with this comic. He doesn’t rail against everything “white” – he makes fun of horribly stupid white people (just as he makes fun of horribly stupid black people).
That doesn’t make him racially prejudiced, that makes him intellectually prejudiced; and I, for one, agree with him.
